腥红假期

　　肖恩·利维将再次合作老搭档二十世纪福斯，执导新片[陨石坑](Crater，暂译)，利维也将约翰·J·格里芬执笔的原创剧本进行改编。故事被描述为科幻版的[ 伴我同行 ]，讲述在月球殖民地长大的男孩，和三个小伙伴共同前往一处神秘陨石坑探秘，不料却发生意外。影片剧本曾经入选2015年“好莱坞剧本黑名单”。

　　陈薇（尹馨 饰）带着女儿（林采洁 饰）为躲避家暴的丈夫住进有自杀胜地之称的蝴蝶大厦后怪事频传。管理员梁伯（冯淬帆 饰）和顶楼的庙公山叔（蔡振南 饰）不断提醒她这一层楼不太干净，如果有能力还是尽快搬走，但是经济拮据的她暂时只能栖身于此。各种三教九流的邻居、杂货铺有阴阳眼的自闭症男孩阿弟（白润音 饰），还有那间被再三交代禁止靠近的613号房，一切都令陈薇感到诡异莫名。外表阳光的代班管理员小梁（曹佑宁 饰）对独立坚强的陈薇照顾有加，经常借故上门帮忙维修家电，陈薇女儿看到他来也会难得露出微笑。正值鬼门开时，蝴蝶大厦内意外频传，甚至发生许多灵异事件，但老住户们似乎已经习以为常。陈薇原本是想带女儿逃离丈夫，不料却将自己卷入更大危机之中...

　　Nimet who can not have children, is constantly under the social pressure of not being able to start a family and thus feels incomplete as a woman. Furthermore, upon learning that her beloved younger sister Öznur is fertile, she starts developing envious thoughts. “Unfruitful Times” is the story of the emotional loneliness of those who can not find courage to break the mold of the society and change their lives.

　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
