A brilliant scientist, Dr. Roche, perches high above a stormy sea, inventing a powerful explosive, when he and his assistant are kidnapped by an evil businessman, Artigas. Taken by submarine to Artigas' volcano headquarters, Roche is tricked into developing his experiment for evil intentions. The scientist’s assistant, Simon, struggles all the while to free himself and warn Roche. A magical world of baroque submarines and sailing ships, killer octopus, undersea bicycles dazzles audiences as human actors, puppetry, animation and fanciful scenic design interact to create a cinematic experience that is unique by any standards. Mixing slapstick comedy, action adventure pacing and Mélies style film magic, this little known Czechoslovakian gem transcends the juvenile literature at its source to create cinematic art of the highest order....

室毅,木南晴夏,吉濑美智子,菅野莉央,日向亘,入山法子,东根作寿英,本多力,早濑憩,安达祐实,村川绘梨,松尾谕,时任三郎,酒向芳,户田惠子,渡部笃郎,滨津隆之由于杏（平手友梨奈 饰）转往美国的法律事务所，藏前（室毅 饰）失去了负责照看的律师，因此被所长暗示即将终止契约。刚好此时，他得知人气“艺能型律师”樋口新（木南晴夏 饰）正准备从事务所独立开业。藏前随即亲自上门请求：“请务必让我在您手下工作。”在被爽快答应的当场，他慌忙签了文件，却不知道这正是“地狱的开端”。
