陈晓东,张静初,芙蓉姐姐,袁文康,孔维,邓家佳,任泉,王洛勇 Luoyong Wang教授“精神心理卫生”的陈聪明（王洛勇 饰）在评定教授职称的课上口出惊人之语，校长再也无法容忍这位行为疯癫的老师，于是后者进入一家惟利是图的精神病院暂时栖身。在这家医院工作的梁海潮（袁文康 饰）难以忘记前妻柳悦（张静初 饰），经陈聪明开导，梁海潮决定把前妻从开补药店的萧春雷（陈晓东 饰）那里夺回来。此时，日日与补药作伴的柳悦在工作时崩溃，也被送入精神病院，在陈聪明帮助下，梁海潮将柳悦救出，而萧春雷将柳悦的药吃下导致情绪失控，被精神病院关押。梁海潮认为夺回前妻的时机已到，而陈聪明则开始想法帮助受害的萧春雷……
好像一切都很糟糕

Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
