白之恋

　　农村姑娘彩凤（张雨绮 饰）跟同伴来到一家号称哈佛毕业生开的诊所，希望可以通过整容手术变漂亮，但是整容医生（吴彦祖 饰）的拙劣表现，令她们无功而返。后来，两人挤上了开往上海的货车。来到大城市，人生地不熟，彩凤却对大屏幕里的街舞情有独钟，原来她也曾经是乡舞蹈队的一员。然而，现实的压力却让她只能把梦想暗藏心底。一次偶然的机会，她进入了朗（立威廉 饰）所开的红星公司，虽然工作是清洁工，但可以有机会接触到街舞，让她非常兴奋，时常默默练习。朗是公司老板，富家子弟，每天周旋于红男绿女之间，希望通过街舞大赛帮公司创品牌。他遇到彩凤后，被她对街舞的执着打动，便提供了一个机会，希望帮她实现梦想。然而，因为一次误会，令彩凤伤心地回到了家乡。她还能有机会站在五光十色的舞台上实现梦想吗？

Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
