Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　1945年,盟军突入德国,德国疯狂科学家李然博士研究的项目----科学怪人法兰克的心脏被潜艇秘密转移到了其同盟国日本的广岛陆军医院,供起研究出不死的士兵,然而核子爆炸使一切化为灰勁.十五年后,科学家在广岛研究核子放射能对人类还有环境的研究中,意外的发先了一个孩子,在检测 中发现其虽然受过核子放射能的照射,但一点都没有被污染,经过调查发现原来这个孩子在核子爆炸后迷一样的出现在广岛的英树医院(原广岛陆军医院),而且他还在不停的变大,所以科学家们推测当年的法兰克的心脏在受到了放射能的影响后,发生了异变,他们称其为广岛怪人法兰克.然而这时的法兰克已经变大到人们不可控制的地步,并且逃出了医院,另一方面,在秋田油田,出现了地底怪兽,最后两只巨大的生物在平原相遇,并进行了激烈的战斗,最后法兰克用火战胜了地底怪兽,然而与此同时一只大章鱼在悄悄的接近他.........
